What can you tell me about Supply Chain Mangement...

Ive done some research and it seems like the right path to something like logistics. Im not sure if logistics is what interests me. I worked for my uncle at his company which is a distributor. I did things like prepare and deliver orders, take inventory, punch codes into the computer to make orders/bills. Is this whats involved? It was something that was second nature to me and I kinda liked it. Anyway, what are good colleges in the east coast for SCM? (that match my academic record about 3.8 gpa and 1730 SAT that I plan to raise) Syracuse claims to have the first program in it and thats a good academic fot, but what are other options. Some schools like Drexel have other bussiness majors with concentrations in Operations and Supply Chain Manegement, though I feel it may not be the same as a degree specifically in SCM.

All help is appreciated, thanks

Penn State. (reach school)

Outside of the top 5 or so on this list I have no idea how accurate it is. I would look around at different schools and see what schools have SCM, and what companies recruit at those schools for SCM grads.

Supply Chain Management usually has a very good chance of getting into DoD jobs.
