What chances do you think I hold at these school?

<p>High School GPA:2.0</p>

<p>School:Pennsylvania Community College </p>

<p>GPA: Will have a 3.7GPA by the end of this semester (50 credits). GPA 3.8ish without my one and only remedial math class. Will transfer with 65ish credits. </p>

<p>Intended major: Political Science/Government</p>

<p>EC since high school: Worked on 2 political campaigns, founder of political blog turned website (make revenue via ads), interned at the bar association of Baltimore City, work part-time, taught private guitar lessons, regular SPCA volunteering, Phi Theta Kappa member.</p>

<p>Hooks: Hispanic-Puerto Rican, first-generation college student, male(?)</p>

<p>Schools i'm interested in:

American University
University of Southern California
Claremont Mckenna College
UCLA
Berkeley
NYU
Cornell
Brown
Emory</p>

<p>Bonjour @cccblues, seeing I live in Southern California, I will answer the ones I’ve done research about.</p>

<p>UCLA, a 3.7 GPA is pretty good especially if your major isn’t impacted. Also they look at if you worked towards your major. I would go to the UCLA website and look for the transfer requirements. But I think you can get in, mainly because the GPA and the major you chose.</p>

<p>Claremont Mckenna College, is a really expensive school. I visited there for Model United Nations and the campus is nice but the dorm rooms are eh not that great. I think you can get in, but I don’t think you should go there. (Just my opinion.)</p>
