What Class Should I Take Next Year? Should I Drop My Language?

Hi I’m a Junior in high school and and unsure about what language class to take for my senior year
Freshman, Sophomore, and Junior year I took honors foreign language but Senior year only has the option of AP or CP culture class. From what I’ve heard, AP is extremely hard—many top students get C+/B- for the first marking period (which is what colleges will see) and then get progressively better throughout the year. CP is an easy A/A+ but brings down my course rigor.
I definitely DON’T want to do the AP class, because I’m taking 5 other difficult APs, but I don’t know whether I should do the CP culture or not.

Is it better to have 4 years of a language and go down a level in course rigor (three honors and the one CP) or do only three years of language (all honors)??

I really want to get into a selective school (Ivies, Georgetown, UCLA, UVA-- which talked about importance of taking a foreign language), so should I drop language or do CP Senior year???

I would do that fourth year of language…whether than is AP or CP is up to you.

I agree…it’s better to do the 4th year of language. You aer taking other APs so you are fine.

Take the 4th level CP. Basically necessary for G’town.
