Hey guys! I was thinking of pursuing a career in law, and was wondering what classes I should take in addition to the requirements. I was definitely thinking of both AP English classes and AP Government. Are there specific categories of classes that would prepare me or look good on my transcript? Thanks in advance.
I would suggest AP Psychology, AP US History, and for college admissions purposes, at least take physical and life science and then an advanced science course. Good luck!
@Nat1201 For science, I’m taking Honors Biology, Honors Chemistry, Honors Physics, and AP Environmental Science. Would that suffice?
@tspmf12 Considering you are going into law that should be fine, but I would consider taking AP Chem, AP Bio, OR AP physics if you can (those are the “big 3” sciences and it couldn’t hurt to have something like that on your app). Definitely take Gov, all english APs, and definitely APUSH. Psych is nice to have too. If your school has mock trial, speech and debate, and/or model UN, you should consider joining one of those ec’s,
