What colleges can I get into?

GPA - 3.5 (No APs during Junior year, 2 APs during senior probably)
SAT ( New) - 1400

EC - President of the Red Cross Club
In the Varsity soccer team
(Random volunteering to fill service hours requirement, if it’s possible to add here)

The low GPA is because I moved to the US during my Junior year. It took me time to get used to the system here. Also I couldn’t get any APs because of the same reason. Also what ECs can I try putting in? I mean what ECs should I do if I already volunteer in the Red Cross?

And main question - What colleges can I get into? Which UCs?

Thank you

What state did you move to?

Are you are US citizen or permanent resident? If not, you will be regarded as an int’l student. This impacts your eligibility for financial aid and the tuition cost for public colleges.

Do you need financial aid? As an int’l student, needing FA will impact your chance of admission at many schools.

How did you get your SAT score? If this score is from the new test, those grades are not out yet.

It was an estimation. I wanted to know what chances I have with that SAT score. Also I’m in California, and my dad did say I’ll be considered a California resident.

Guys?

You need to calculate your UC GPA: https://rogerhub.com/gpa-calculator-uc/
I would have your counselor address your lack of AP’s since UC’s put much emphasis on HS course rigor and GPA.

Intended major? This will also impact your chances depending upon how competitive of a major you plan to pursue.

If your UC GPA is 3.5, your best chances would be UC Merced/Riverside and Santa Cruz. It is would worth application fees to apply to UCI/UCSB or UCD, but your GPA will impact your chances. If you are CA in-state, then consider some high ranking CSU’s such as Cal Poly SLO, Cal Poly Pomona, San Diego State, Cal State Fullerton and Long Beach.

Repost with UC GPA and official test scores for a better advice.

Did you get official verification of this, since you will have only attended HS in CA for 2 years?

FYI, from the UC website:

Don’t just assume. Find out for sure.

Yes, the GPA I calculated was from the UC GPA from that website.

.

Got a 1463.
