I'm taking the June 14th ACT after the June 7th SAT. I can't prepare for the ACT until after the SAT is done, in which I'll take a practice test(going to take forever!) immediately the next day. If I spend a lot of time each day, how much could I improve my score in that one week? I'm talking long hours and a lot of practice tests here, and of course a lot of ACT prep books(I'll go to the bookstore to do it, not actually buy them). I won't have school, so I'll have plenty of time to prepare.

I just need a 31-32, and I've gotten a 1900 on the SAT, and I definitely like the logic questions on the ACT better from what I've seen. I guess a better question would be, could one week push you from a 25 to a 32(not that 25 is my score, just an average # I thought of)?

studying for the SAT definitely helped me for the ACT, since I barely prepared for it. SAT preparation probably helped me get a 31 on the ACT.

Uhhh, very little prep helped me go from a 30 to a 33. You just have to get a feel for the reading questions, learn some of the math concepts, and review some grammar concepts as well. If you just do a little bit of hyper-studying, I'm sure you'll improve your score.

a week of prep got me a 36. compared to the sat, less prep is needed for the ACT in my opinion.

I have the same question. I have 2 SAT II tests on June 7 which means I have 1 week to prepare also. I got a 31 on my ACT last time and is aiming for a 33 this time but I am worried about the lack of preparation time.

Work through the science section of five or six real ACT exams and make sure you understand how to do it.
