I'm an undergrad who is considering several different majors with one general goal in mind: business. The majors I am considering are, economics, statistics, accounting, and finance. I don't know exactly what it is in business that it is that I want to do, but I can say that I am an extremely detailed individual, and I also want to make a lot of money. (Please Do not tell me that a should not consider a career for the money. I know that I can find happiness in almost any career that I have.) I have several reservations about every major on my list. My fear for economics is that I won't really enjoy the course work; for statistics it is that it will be a little limiting, but I have also heard that having a major outside of business is sometimes an asset; for accounting I'm concerned that it will ,make me only desirable only for accounting type positions; finance is the degree that worries me the most as I feel that it is seen as being overdone. For any of these degrees I am not worried about needing education above a bachelors degree, or having to take specialty exams (as in majoring in accounting to become a CPA)
