What did you turn down for Amherst?

<p>Just wondering, but what colleges did you get accepted to that you turned down in order to go to Amherst?</p>

<p>Middlebury; Bowdoin; Wesleyan; Colgate; Vanderbilt; Univ. of North Carolina-Chapel Hill; Univ. of Florida (Honors Program); also, declined waitlist offers from Williams, Cornell and Duke.</p>

<p>Pomona, Wash U in St Louis, the whole UC system</p>

<p>Williams, Ithaca, SUNY Binghamton.</p>

<p>Declined waitlist offers from Sarah Lawrence and Brandeis. Stayed on the Harvard waitlist, but didn't send a letter or anything.</p>

<p>columbia, berkeley, hamilton, grinell</p>

<p>Middlebury, Bennington and Oberlin.</p>

<p>Declined wait-list offers from Wesleyan and Vassar</p>

<p>Turned it down for kingsborough community college. (couldn't afford)</p>

<p>Kingsborough will put you on a nice beach with close proximity to Coney Island:)</p>

<p>Wesleyan, Georgetown SFS, Wash U, Bucknell, Tufts, Johns Hopkins Hodson Scholarship (1/2 tuition for 4 years)</p>
