Do many brown students go out and watch the basketball games? is they gym usually packed?

I thought this was a racist post until I saw that it was in the Brown forums (watch your capitalization). Just kidding but I had to do a double take, ya know.

I’d stalk Emma Watson =)

I doubt many go to basketball games. Then again I probably shouldn’t answer this question.

You know, to be honest, I never went to a basketball game. It was totally off my radar. I’m sure other people go to basketball games.

What do I do for fun? …Talk with friends. Watch us lose at hockey matches. Do homework (lol). Explore town/New England. Go window shopping. Rent movies. Go to parties. Dance. Read books. Etc.

When my son went to ADOCH he stayed with some current students. Besides visiting and hanging around with friends, they also played board games.

I’ve been to ONE football game (when my parents came), and 1/2 a hockey game (with some friends on a friday or saturday night). I’m someone who played varsity lacrosse, and went to at least 3 varsity football games a year in HS. I would have liked to go to a lacrosse game, but they all seemed to conflict with my classes (stupid late tuesday classes) or clubs like debate. Simply, there’s not a lot of students going to sports games, because they find other things for which they place a higher value on THAT time, whether that’s studying, going to class, or playing board games with friends (did play RISK quite a few times).
