Recently, I asked my guidance counselor for a copy of my transcript to send for a scholarship application. The one thing that seemed a little odd was that it said I had 1 attendance mark this year. However, I talked with him about a month ago and he actually called the attendance office and they figured out it was just a mishap because the teacher I went on the field trip with did not submit student names to the office so they marked us as absent. Should I bring this up with my counselor again? Does it even matter in the long run to colleges?
I really don’t think colleges are going to care that you missed class once, lol.
Most high schools don’t report that on the official transcript anyways, so really, don’t worry about it.
