<p>I submitted all my apps via Common App so will the colleges I applied to email me with a username and password in a few days to keep track of my application status/admissions decision or will they only send it in the mail? </p>
<p>All of the ones I applied to (about six) sent the usernames and passwords online except for one college (Marist.) It depends, but the majority send them online within a few days, my longest wait was a little over a week. </p>
