what to do after submitting common application

I recently submitted my application for different schools at common app, but not all of them have contacted me or recognize me as an applicant. Should I try applying on their website and pay the fee again or just wait?

anyone knows?

Just wait. It can take some time.

DEFINITELY not this. How about a telephone call first – a novel idea, no?

When did you apply?

You can see on the Common App if they have downloaded your application. Some schools take a while to notify you. When you go in, click on “My Colleges” on the left side. Then click on your college names one at a time. You should see “Downloaded” next to the application if they have downloaded it.

Make sure you have submitted any supplement on the Common App, made any required payment, and when you click on “School Forms” that everything shows up and has been downloaded (rec letters, school report, and mid-year report).

If this isn’t all done by 10 days after you submitted the Common App, or you don’t have an email from them, then I would email the admissions office and ask politely if they can check on whether your application has been received, and if it is complete.
