<p>hi! i was accepted to usc school of business about 2 weeks ago. (im international btw) I am still waiting for all the decisions from all the other schools that I applied to and so I would not make a decision on where I am going to attend anytime soon. I am just wondering if there are anything that I need to do now to secure this acceptance? e.g. e-mailing now/mailing them a letter acknowledging this acceptance? I dont mean the deposit that we have to pay by may 1st.</p>
<p>You don't need to do anything until May 1st. In the US, May 1st is the standard date for students to notify a college of their decision, and include a non-refundable deposit. I think it 300USD with USC. Other than that, if you are applying for financial aid, make sure you are up on that. Otherwise, you're good until May 1st. Just make sure you have your check mailed out and postmarked by May 1st.</p>
<p>Actually, I recommend you turn in your housing deposit because housing is assigned first-come-first-serve. You'll get housing if you choose USC, but by turning it in now, it's more likely you'll get your first pick. Deposit is only $25 I believe.</p>
