What do I do?

So I just got my Sat Subject test score for January and I found out that my score from chem dropped down to a 570… I don’t know what happened. I had a 630 which was bad but I can’t believe I did worse… I feel like I completely threw away my chances since the FUN form is done and I can’t send my 630. Is there anything I can do? Do I even really have a chance at this point?

Why can’t you send the 630?

I think its too late for them to arrive. Is that accurate?

There is no harm in sending a score report. Send it? Hope for the best and prepare for the worst.

I scored 1240 in the January SAT full test and I’ve sent the score report (hopefully it makes you feel better  ).

They will accept January scores, but they say that MIT should be included as a recipient so that they get them sooner. It takes 1-2 weeks for them to get there, so it will get there on time, just a matter of how late it can be for them to review it. I would send your best score ASAP.

Thanks for the input here guys. I emailed admissions and they told me I could send a placeholder until the official score arrives. I’ve been pretty calm up this point but I guess I just got a little worried. A 630, while a weakpoint, isn’t too bad considering I hadn’t seen a lot of that material since 10th and 11th grade. I’m sure they’ll note it but I don’t think it will make or break me. I tried and now it’s just the waiting game.
