What do i do!?

Aight guys here's the problem. I'm a legacy applying wharton ED, good school grade and E.Cs, but messed up and got a 1920 on the SAT. I'm was supposed to do 2 SAT IIs in October as I'm international and it is the only possible date before ED. I was thinking, instead of doing the SAT IIs, would it be better to just do the ACT in october (they have an october date), and then don't have to do my SAT IIs and get a chance to improve SAT/ACT score before ED?

Please let me know if you know anyone who has gotten in with just ACT and no SAT IIs, and what score they got. Also, let me know what you think i should do to maximise my chances of getting in.

Another thing, are these facts true!? dpes PENN prefer SAT to ACT??

Thanks for all your help :D

You can use ACT score instead of SAT+SAT IIs, not sure if Penn actually prefers SAT over ACT but if you take Penn instruction at face value, I would not focus too much attention on whether SAT or ACT is better based on a suggestion from a college prep website. What you really need to focus on is to assess how well will you do on the upcoming ACT or SAT tests. You can do this by doing practice tests and see if you can score well. Study hard and practice the tests trying to get the score up between now and then. If I were you, I would register to do both ACT and SAT in October and aim to get the score up well above 1920 level. You may not do this if you figure out from taking practice tests that you will definitely do well on one of the tests, otherwise getting 2 shots at scoring well is better than one. For ACT, you should try to get to at least a score of 32 or 33.

Penn requires you to submit ALL SAT AND ACT scores. You don’t have to do both, but if you do, you’re supposed to submit Both. That said, in my experience, they actually do look at your best scores, so I suggest you try a practice run on the ACT and see how well you do. If you find it easier, then do that (they will then mainly count the ACT), if you don’t then stick with the SAT. I found the SAT easier, but that’s just me. :)

BUMP. ok i need to know, is it ok to apply to wharton with only the ACT + writing, no maths SAT II. does anyone know about any instances where this has happened, or whether this will be OK?? please, i need to know
