I live in High Rise North and my room’s ethernet jack just randomly crapped out three days ago, so I called an ITA and all he’s doing is hemming and hawing over appointments to “look at my computer” when my computer is fine and all I want is my room’s ethernet jack reactivated

The wireless AirPennNet signal blows and disconnects every ten minutes or so, Penn’s computing site sucks and I can’t find answers, what do I do CC

From what I've seen of the ITA's here, the standards are lax, don't exactly have to know much about computers to be an ITA....

But yes, Penn's internet, at least here in East, is actually pretty awesome, don't know what abcfox is talking about. I can typically get over a Mb/s download speeds on BT when i'm on both AirPennNet and plugged in.

I live on the 16th floor and the wireless signal is very lacking here, disappointing, I know

I've never had a problem with AirPennNet on the lobby floor, though. I work at the cafe with my laptop, and yeah the connection is awesome as well as the speeds

PhatAlbert: I am! And in general, you don't have to. I'm pretty decent with them, probably not as much as I should be though (CS major!). Some of the other ITA's are rather deficient though...

And abc, that's funny. I'm on 16 in east :)
