What do I submit online, and what do I submit via mail?

So I fill out the Common Application and Stanford Supplement through the commonapp website (online) right?

But for the counselor/secondary school report and two teacher recommendations, do I submit those through the mail?
The reason I ask this is because the website says to download the forms from the commonapp website (to ensure that my commonapp ID is on there,) but I don't know where to download the forms from. There is the option of selecting from the teachers I invited online to the commonapp, though. But aren't they supposed to be downloaded and mailed in?

I'm just really confused and it would be great if anyone could help me out!!!

You add teachers through the Common Application, and if you don't invite them through email when doing so, it prompts you to download paper forms when you go to the school forms portion of the Common App for each particular school. To clarify, you add all teachers in general, and then apply certain teachers to certain schools. As long as you don't send the email invite, you should be prompted to download the paper versions of the recommendation forms and the secondary school report.

But what if I already added teachers? (and thanks for answering my question, by the way!)

You probably should respond with the same account, since they don't take to favorably to multiple accounts. To answer your question, I think you can remove a teacher after you added them.

The thing is that I need those teachers on there so I can choose them for other colleges on the common app.
Is it okay if I just do this: I went to the common app's "download forms" page, and scrolled down to the "Teacher Evaluation Only: PDF | Word" part. If I click PDF, it says Teacher Evaluation 1 at the bottom, and when I click Word, it says Teacher Evaluation 2 at the bottom-- just like Stanford says it should. (I honestly have no idea why the PDF and Word are different in that aspect...) So can I just use those? Are they in any way different to what the forms should look like?

No to the last question, except they do not have your Common App ID number on the bottom, or your name, so you will have to write those in legibly with a pen. You should be fine using them.

how do i figure out what my common app ID number is? this is all so confusing. thanks so so so so so much amciw!!!!!!!!

For that, print preview any supplement and look at the bottom of the page. You should see both your name and the Common App ID next to that.

You dont have to submit anything if you did EVERYTHIGN online
