I have had phone interviews with companies last year and if I got a next round or an offer, they would call. If I didn't, I never heard back from them.

For the on campus interviews that I had last year, I got offers from all of them so they always called back.

This is my question:
After going through several on campus interviews, they all told me I would hear a decision in a couple weeks. By that, do they mean that they would call back even if you dont get an next round/offer? Or do they mean the "We will call back if we are interested" type of deal?

ha! I didnt even go to my career fair. All they do it hand out shirts and tell us to apply online.

It’s just like a date.

After they go out with you, they’ll go back and talk to their girlfriends about you pros and cons. If they like you and felt a spark, they’ll call back.

If not then it’s back to using your hand…to submit other resumes.

Many companies (like mine) do take your resumes from college recruiting and view them. Then they will conduct on-site interviews if needed and call the people from their pile of resumes.

Sorry for the confusion…what I mean is after the first round on campus interview… not just resume submission
