what do u think? Cornell anybody? esp. hotel~~~

I am looking forward to be admitted to Cornell hotel admistration

i am just an average kid with SAT score of 1900,and gpa of 3.89 unweighted
I am a korean student, which is a good thing, because i know that cornell respects a diversity a lot even though millions of people like me apply there... >.<
I know that i am not gonna be able to fit all this to my common application but what do u think the most importants things i should put it on my app.
and do u think i even have a close chance ...

1900 is a bit low.......

I'd say you have a 50% chance of getting in.

yes i am aware of that score, but would good essay can hopefully bring me up and show my uniquness in trilingual, and other stuff....

unless you have at least a sectional ranking, i wouldnt put down your usta membership...anyway can have one if you pay for it so its not really impressive...if you have a ranking you can put that down

being trilingual is not a big accomplishment

I am korean too. I learned english, and also french and some spanish

and id definitely take off awards given ONLY at your school (colleges dont consider those in the least) and take off Prom Prince (wth is that?) and unless Lunch Buddy has an alternate, super-important position behind it, you shouldve include that as well...All those make your resume diluted

SAT II?

And for cornell, id say its a very very high reach for you at the moment. ECs arent THAT unique, and youre SAT is low, certainly for your URM

Wait a second- Koreans are certainly NOT URMs.

But i am quadlingual? Englis, Korean, Spaish, And Chinese. would that help? since it is really important for Hospitality Industry?

yeah, but where are your required SATII, class rank, coursework, and how good were your essays and recs. As of now, I would say it is a medium to high reach

well.

I have a really creative idea about Hotel Essays.. so hopefully it's good
