What do you do with trash in your dorm room?

I know this sounds like a dumb question. But, is there a collection day or do you take it to the dumpster yourself, what's the deal?

We're supposed to put trashbags in the dumpster outside, but we usually just put them in the trash cans around the dorm and let the maintenance take it out (unless the cans were overflowing).

i eat my trash.

you hide it under your bed till the room smells so bad that you cant breathe.

in the dorms we put it in the trash cans at the end of the hall, in the apartments we carried it out ourselves to the dumpster.

We carried it out to the dumpster, it seems pretty easy until you get to a point when both of you are so busy that it just piles up for a few weeks until you run out of room to put your stuff because there is trash everywhere. This actually ended up the biggest problem between my roomie and me, we took turns taking out the trash and sometimes would get into conflicts over whose turn it was with neither of us willing to take it out when we had "done it last"

We had a trash chute.

Usually theres a trash room where u dump your trash from the week..or however long it take u to accumilate it, into a bigger trash can that maintenance then puts in the dumpster.

the maid takes it out, duh

Depends on the school. At my school we take it out to the dumpster ourselves. If we put our trash in common trash cans we get billed for its removal.

theres a trash room. you bring your trash bags to the room and throw them in there. there a trash room on every floor. pretty simple.

i like to keep my trash and smell up the room.

"if you don't see it, it's not there."

that was my suite's credo. we never looked down.

or, whoever couldn't stand it anymore cleaned it up.

Ours just goes into the hall trashcan.

thats what god made windows for =)..... Unless your on the first floor then your screwed because the smell will seap into your room.
