What do you guys think?

Right, since my last post got deleted i shall post it again!

Basically im an English student who is about to study a year abroad in America. I'm doing American studies and film degree and im looking for a Uni that is laid back and fun BUT also has a good academic reputation. My choices (in preference order) are as follows:

University of Miami
University of Michigan
University of Santa Barbara
University of Georgia
University of Washington, Seattle

Now i think these choices are pretty safe HOWEVER i'm very worried about places like Miami as i feel i wont be able to party etc and have a good time because i wont be 21 years old (I'll be 20) and as a result i wont be able to go clubbing etc with all the people who go off campus. I'm also worried because i read up about Seattle and apparently the Uni is pretty lame and doesnt have much house parties which is what i live for hahaha

Any reassurance on this issue would be good guys...also i was wondering how english people are recieved in U.S uni's???

Cheers

That depends where you gonna go.I'm from Brazil and the places where the people were most friendly are:Canada , west coast (san francisco, seattke) , chicago , st louis, milwaukee...the south(texas alabama , mississippi)in my opinion are not very friendly with foreigners...I know that i'm from brazil and you from England but those places that i have mentioned are nice with most foreign people. This is just my humble experience..of course thats going to be variations...

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ok.
