<p>Do you want to go there because you truly like it or because it's Princeton?</p>
<p>I don't care for Princeton even after the visits and whatnot, but I'm still tempted to apply...</p>
<p>Yea, I will probably apply, even if "just for fun". But I would go there because of all the other bright young people there. And the campus also has a nice feel to it(I live 30 min away from it).</p>

<p>But personally, I loved how open the professors were, even before I chose Princeton. I sat in on a Japanese class, and I was laughing even though I didn't understand anything people was saying - the atmosphere was incredibly light-hearted. I also personally met Brian Kernighan, who was such a nice person and who talked to me for a while even though I still had not chosen Princeton. I went to the Physics department, and they weren't at all arrogant despite the fact that it's PRINCETON. Later, a professor I hadn't talked to called me, and I asked physics questions, sure, but we also talked about random things for nearly an hour. He was a really nice guy.</p>
<p>Sure, maybe it was just a lucky personal experience - but it was enough for me.</p>
<p>I know a lot of people who didn't like Princeton on their first visit (sometimes even their second), but came anyways and ended up loving it. Likewise I know people who loved it at first and grew bored of it shortly after. Princeton is a unique place and isn't for everyone. However I strongly recommend that you do apply. I'm not sure what the nature of your first visit was, but you definitely want to try and stay overnight with a current student if you can (admissions might be able to help you find one if you don't have a friend on campus). This will allow you to experience the real everyday Princeton experience, opposed to what you get on campus tours.</p>
