<p>There tends to be a lot of negativity on this forum, with people continuously bitching about their colleges.</p>
<p>Why is Davis an awesome place? I know Davis is excellent, but why? </p>
<p>I love the cooperative environment. The majority of people are happy to help you out if you just talk to them. It’s difficult but not cutthroat.</p>
<p>I love the social life here. It’s a perfect balance for the simple reason of there being something for everyone. If you want to party, you can easily find some parties each weekend. If you don’t, you can easily have a social life without ever going to a party if you so choose.</p>
<p>I love how nice and approachable people are in general. It’s one of the few campuses I’ve been to where I’ve felt comfortable going up to a random person and asking for help (usually directions); this was true when I first toured and is still true now that I’ve been here a couple years.</p>
