Hey, I am a high school senior and the thing is that I want to apply in fall 2016 any how. My SAT scores are 1310 (430 CR/430 writting/450 math) in the first attempt and a 1460 (450 CR/480 W/530 M) on the second. I have two options right now. I can give the SAT in January and apply to Indiana university Bloomington (they will judge me on space available basis) or submit my application on the score I currently have. Please help. Any sort of help is highly appreciated!
Retake the test, definitely. Try and get above a 1600. Indiana is actually a decent school. Are you in-state?
Thanks for replying @LilRussian. I am not in-state but my credentials according to prep4sat website is of 45% to the Indiana university with this score. I am from India.
@DNddddddn according to this site, your scores are below the 25%ile score in all areas. I also suggest retaking, if at all possible.
Another question is whether you can afford it.
@MITer94 Yes I can afford it. Retake is still a possibility but I think that my IB grades would be able to support it. Any more input would be much appreciated.
