Do they really base acceptance on them?
I don't understand why colleges do so, it truly isn't a good way to do it.
For me, I do very well in school and am pretty darn smart.
But, I freeze on the SAT's because I get so worked up on the fact that they are worth so much more. I didn't do well at all on them the first time, and those are the scores that IU are has gotten. (I took them again last Saturday, and I believe I did so much better...but, I don't know how much that will matter now.)

So many people tell me I should get in, but I don't know what to think.

what does base acceptance mean? If you retook them be sure to submit them and perhaps let them know via email that you will be submitting new scores, maybe your high grades will offset them, not everyone is a great testtaker and they know that...good luck.

Did you try the ACT? I mean it is a little late in the game now but that's the good thing about IU's rolling admission. The only thing that worries me about the ACT is science, but you can guess so..

Hopefully it won't matter and you did great this last time on the SATs and you can send them to IU and be accepted and relax :D
