What do you think my chances are at these Schools

I'm a Junior right now and I'm planning on applying to Stanford in the fall for early action, can you try and give me an idea of what my chances are? Also, I'm looking at Caltech, USC, Carnegie Mellon, UC Berkeley, MIT, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. I'll probably apply to Harvard and UPenn as well. If it's any information, I'm looking into a Statistics and/or Computer Science field.

I'm ranked 13 in my class of 780ish, I have a 4.52 GPA (weighted obviously), I've taken a very aggressive course load, 2 AP courses my sophomore year, 5 my junior year and 6 next year for my senior year. I've taken 3 SAT Subject Tests, 700 in Physics, 780 in Math 2, and 720 in US History. I've taken the SAT's a couple times, my highest scores are Math: 740, Reading: 680, Writing: 650. I'm planning on taking it once more to bring up my reading and writing scores. I got Summa Cum Laude on the National Latin Exam this year if that's a plus and I believe my freshman year I got Magna Cum Laude.

As far as extracurriculars go, for the last 2 years I've had a summer internship in a computer science lab at UMass: Lowell. I swim for a club team and compete often (although I'm not at a Division 1 Level, I could swim at a Division 2 school) and I have run XC for the last 2 years, and I will again next year. I'm also an officer of my schools science club and a I've been a member of the student council at my school since my freshman year. I also spent some time tutoring eight graders in math if that means anything. Next year I'm planning on running for class president as well, but that's not something I know I'll get right now.

If this is a plus, I'm also half indian half white, maybe minority or underrepresented? Any other information, just ask, I'll try to think of more to add, but for now, what would you say are my chances? Stanford is my top choice right now.

Anyone please?

I think you’ll most likely get into USC, Carnegie Mellon, UC Berkeley, & Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Caltech, Harvard & MIT are kind of a reach right now, but you’d probably have a decent chance if you brought SAT scores up & did good on APs. As for Stanford, that’s probably also a reach, but why don’t you just apply RD? I heard EA is actually harder b/c they reject so many people (only a few even get deferred ).

I think I might just do that, is there anything you can suggest that might help me with Stanford other than improving my SAT scores (and obviously my grades)?

Honestly, I believe you would probably get into most of the schools you posted. As for Harvard, MIT, and Stanford the only thing that really is lowering your chances are your SAT scores. Your math score is perfectly fine, and your reading and writing are within the range for Stanford but only the 25th percentile. But really you have an excellent background when it comes to extracurricular’s and your ranking is outstanding. Right now your SAT’s are impressive, I mean my cousin got into both brown, and standford with only a 1900 SAT score so you’re fine. I would also suggest you taking the ACT, because i found the ACT much easier than the SAT, and ended up getting a 32, while my SAT were only a 2000.

Overall you have a great chance at most of these schools, and a good chance for Stanford. =D
