What do you think my chances are for getting into University of Florida?

I’ve done different online calculators and such but I am just still nervous; here’s what I look like academically:

  • Graduating high school with an associate's ( and with 94 college credits)
  • GPA: 3.49 (Unweighted)
  • SAT: 1270
  • Member of Phi Theta Kappa and National Society of High School Scholars (Honors societies)

I know UF is a hard school to get into (One of my friends had a 4.0 and he got denied), but what do you think my chances are…?

With an associates you will enter nor can you compare yourself to the typical freshman. With a 3.5 (assuming no C’s) about a 50/50 split of A’s and B’s. I’ve known others in a similar situation that were not admitted into UF as it seem to me that the admissions folks do not view dual enrollment favorably.

@FlaParent When you say don’t look at Dual enrollment favorably , what do you mean? As a incoming freshmen or transfer ? Most kids take Dual enrollment because they are out of classes to take in high school

My experience (from others that I have observed) is that UF does not admit students like the OP (94 credits). This student took all of their classes Junior and Senior year at a community college. At a college whose classes are not a rigorous as UF, they did not have a great GPA.
FSU appears to be more interested in students with this profile.

@FlaParent ok you are saying as a transfer student not incoming freshmen
