<p>I like it, and I think it looks pretty sleek, except I see a lot of laptops in the $500-700 range... is this that much better to justify the higher price?</p>
<p>I've had ASUS products for a long time, but I believe they only started making notebooks recently. </p>

<p>It depends... are you also going to have a desktop? Personally, I would justify having a good laptop AND a good desktop, but that's just me. I would go for it if I were you. Actually, if I had the money, I'd probably buy it too.</p>
<p>ASUS tends to make very good laptops. The build quality is high. I've heard that the S96J is good, as is the W3J (not sure if this is released yet).</p>

<p>Don't worry it's just a personal thing, ASUS does make good laptops. And this one has good specs, I love that graphics card. Should be great for you.</p>
