What does disciplinary history mean in the common app for transfers?

“Have you ever been adjudicated guilty or convicted of a misdemeanor or felony? Note that you are not required to answer “yes” to this question, or provide an explanation, if the criminal adjudication or conviction has been expunged, sealed, annulled, pardoned, destroyed, erased, impounded, or otherwise required by law or ordered by a court to be kept confidential.”

I want to transfer for fall 2021 but recently my whole class was caught cheating on a quiz worth less than 5% of our grade. Does cheating count as disciplinary history and should I say yes to the question?

This almost certainly seems to be referring to legal matters and criminal judgement. It is not saying to reveal disciplinary action. I am pretty sure you don’t have to reveal that you were caught cheating, at least not in regards to this particular question.

Thanks for the reply. How does cheating affect transfer admissions? I haven’t had an appointment with my school yet but I can and willing to retake the whole test proctored with new questions. The whole class (around 100 people) made a group chat and arranged a giving out answers time. I spoke while they are giving out answers but didn’t really look at what they were posting.
