I m applying for early decision for this fall semester. Do i have to give an impression that I am someone who is out of the ordinary or someone idiosyncratic? in my application

<p>Oberlin does not look for eccentricity in any applicant, international or domestic. Oberlin looks for distinction and distinctiveness. There's a difference.</p>
<p>So you are saying if you are one of a kind you have a shot at admissions at Oberlin?
What if my strong mathematical skills undermines my reasonably good verbal skills (800 in maths and 560 in verbal and 610 in writing?)
Do I have to compensate for that deficit in English? by getting an A or B in A-level English Literature and Language (I m awaiting results)?
Or the discrepancy among my different SAT1 sections results come to hurt me the most. (I dont have to worry about my college essay, I'll take care of it)
What do you guys suggest I do?</p>
