One of my friends that applied said that theirs said they had been accepted. Does this mean I was denied? I have a 3.4 GPA and he has a 2.9, but he got in. And my high school was much more all rounded than his was. I am getting kind of worried.

The GPA above is my college GPA. My high school GPA was 3.9.

I do not think so. It could mean that maybe you have been rewarded some type of merit scholarship or that they need more from you in order to make their decision (transcripts, letters of recommendation). Don’t get too stressed

Did you not apply to UNC-CH? If not, why? You definitely have the GPA.

Hey thanks for the reply. I hope it means a scholarship of some type, considering I filled out my FAFSA and all of that earlier than I applied. I really don’t understand how I would be rejected.

I didn’t apply to UNC-CH because they do not have Industrial Engineering. I would love to attend Chapel Hill considering I am a lifelong Tarheel fan.

Makes sense. Did you apply to N.C. State?
