So for one of the schools I got accepted to, it says "You have no financial aid awards available for viewing in this aid year." Does this mean I am not getting any financial aid for this school, or have I just not gotten my financial aid awards for that school yet? I already got my financial aid for the other school I got accepted to, so I thought I would already get my financial aid for this school too, or do you not receive your financial aid awards at the same time for all the schools you accepted to?

No, that may not mean that.

If you’re looking at the school’s portal, they may only be listing awards for current students for the CURRENT school year.

No, you don’t get FA offers from all schools at the same time.

Have you called the school and asked why you haven’t rec’d a FA award yet? Are you sure you listed the school on FAFSA?

Thanks for replying! It said that for the 2013 school year, but I guess I possibly just haven’t received financial aid for that school yet. I’m pretty positive I listed the school on my FAFSA but I could double check.

I checked it and I did put this school on my FAFSA.

Call or email the FA office and ask. Include any school ID number that you’ve been assigned.

Always check, because it is possible that you do not have an aid package due to a problem … you may owe documents, or there may be an issue that kept your FAFSA from linking to your student ID. I always tell students to check … better safe than sorry!
