No Financial Aid Means Likely Rejection

Someone was saying on their Albert that teh Financial Aid section changed to include 2012-2013. Does this mean anything? Mine still says No financial aid information found. Does this mean I'm not getting in?

I posted that question last night and I really don’t think anyone can use it to say whether someone is in or not at this early date. I went through all the ED posts and found a number of people that were asked for additional financial aid info 3 days before decisions were out. I was surprised when I found they were not admitted.

At this point it could be a couple of things. They are just starting to load the page with this link for all applicants and it will continue for the next week, or they are starting to load the pages for admitted applicants. The link was not active - it just showed. Someone else was able to see a scholarship - I have no clue on that one. And Mango commented that it happened the night before admittance to another University. Definitely no email of acceptance here so NYU is handling this differently.

This info is only good for future applicants - we won’t know if it means anything until acceptances come out (and even then schools change things!) Right now I think financial aid and admissions work very independently.

Mine used to say “No Financial Aid Information Found” but it recently changed into “Award Access Not Available”. I hope it turns out to be something good.

As of right now, no one knows for sure whether there is a correlation between the financial aid and the acceptances. I just checked and mine says, “Award Access Not Available”.

I’ve been accepted, to the Core program, and mine has changed to the “Award Access Not Available.” So it’s not a rejection, but like Ben said, it might just be how they’re uploading it.
