<p>Dear Bio Sci Student,</p>

<p>Based on your recent grades in our required major classes, or your lack of progress toward the degree, it is necessary to place you on an academic contract with the School of Biological Sciences. Our goal is your academic success; we want to help you develop your best academic strategies as we write this contract.</p>

<p>Please call the Biological Sciences Student Affairs Office at 949-824-5318 to set up an appointment to have your contract written. If this contract is not completed by Friday, April 23rd, we will place a hold on your Fall Quarter 2010 enrollment.</p>

<h2>The Academic Counselors in our office look forward to helping you in the near future. We are located on the first floor of the Bio Sci III Building.</h2>

<p>What is going to happen to us?</p>

<p>Did you get unsatisfactory grades in a required class? If that’s true, then the college is simply trying to arrange a meeting with you so that they can arrange for a plan so that you can get better grades in the future. If you didn’t get unsatisfactory grades, it must be a computer glitch and you should still see them to explain that so that you won’t lose your major.</p>
