<p>I'm really scared because my status is different from the considering your application one that everyone else seems to have. It is currently:</p>

<p>We received the fall grades we requested, and require no additional information at this time. We will mail decisions to freshman applicants by April 1st.</p>

<p>and has been the same since 2/11. I hope that this doesn't mean that they aren't even considering my application anymore. Does anyone still have this as their status? Or has anyone who has been accepted have this as their status?</p>

<p>That's really discouraging for me. Did the message I have about the mid-year grades come up for you guys after you submitted your mid-year reports, and then change to the "being reviewed by the admission committee" after?</p>

<p>shunshine3, I don't believe I was ever requested to submit mid-year reports, but they were sent anyways. However, my status never reflected a change saying they received them, so I'm not really sure.</p>

<p>sunshine3, my status changed to the same as yours on 3/6 update. i sent my grades 3/5.
i'm very worried because i've read that they judge national merit finalists harder, bc if you are accepted as a nmf, you will get the presidential scholarship automatically. (so, that may actually count against a candidate).</p>

<p>candy45 - that would really suck. I certainly hope that isn't the case because if anything, you should be rewarded for being a NMF.</p>

<p>yea, i did put usc as my first choice. there were a couple of NMF who got their packages around mid March last year. so i'm still hoping that i haven't been rejected.</p>

<p>I think the second one you had to make a login for. the first one says my application still has to be processed which can "take a few days" and the second links status says its in review and i'll hear by april first...</p>
