To explain why there's so many "duplicates:" It says Secondary School Report twice, as my counselor sent the form with the information, as well as the actual school report fact sheet. I don't know why it says Personal Statement Activity four times. The mid-year is twice because I sent it in the mail and online. I sent two sheets for SAT scores (I and II score sheets).

I guess USC is really thorough, which is awesome for us to figure out what they do and don't have without calling or anything.

That's because you have to create a new username for it. See, for my status page, my username is my first name, but for the other page Q mentioned, I used my first and last name. ^_^ I've used that page often. You can find it through the Financial aid section. Here, I'll give you guys the link to where you sign up for the account.

I'm wondering about curious1's question as well... to repeat, "do you think it makes a difference which status you received? Either the one that says they don't need any more info and applicant will be notified by April 1......or is it better to have gotten the one that says it has gone to admission committee and to call if you haven't heard by April 11?"

I think they mean the same thing. The one with "don't need more info" is because they requested the midyear report. The second one is there because USC didn't request the midyear report from them. It's like two roads that end up at the same destination :)

i have no clue what the difference is, but i think there is one. they requested my midyear grades same as everyone elses, but my status went straight from completed prelim review to being reviewed by the committee. unless it was during the span of a few days when i didnt check my status, mine was never the we have recieved midyears and require nothing else. (though i know from calling that they did definitely get them).

also, i dont know if it makes a difference, but i live in chicago.

I think the people that got letters today all had the "admission committee" status. Did anyone get accepted with the other status yet? I'm worried........

Your application is being reviewed by the admission committee. We will mail notification of their decision by April 1. If for some reason you don't receive our written notice, we will be happy to provide the results over the phone beginning April 11th.

I was accepted today with this status!

For those of you still waiting, hang in there! I know how tough it is...

Mine's " We received the fall grades we requested, and require no additional information at this time. We will mail decisions to freshman applicants by April 1st. "

Is ^ that message supposed to come BEFORE the "reviewed by the admission committee" message?? or after? I'm so confused.

I'm an Anneberg applicant and I'm so nervous since the 2nd wave has already started and haven't gotten anything :(

I still don't understand how I got Berkeley regents and nothing from USC..

USC is the first school (of the ones I pay attention to) with results that include admitted students that are clearly not "by the numbers". Sit tight, unless you are in SoCal you should not expect to have heard today.
