What exactly constitutes a 36?

I feel really dumb for asking this, but is a 36 ONLY if a 36 is achieved in each of the four parts, or can a 35.5 round up? For some reason I was thinking the former, but I can't find anything saying so.
So... in the ACT results report, then, did 428 students get 35.5 and higher, or did 428 students sweep 36's?

Thanks... I just can't seem to find a straight answer for this.

im fairly sure 35.5 rounds up. you definitely don't need to get a 36 in every section.

I got a 36 with 36e, 36s, 35r, 35m = 35.5.

how did you prepare?
