What exactly does my counselor need to submit as school forms?

My question is pretty straightforward, as indicated in the title.

My counselor had already submitted the school report, though she has yet to submit the optional, midyear, and final reports. Should I bug her to submit these reports within these next few days?

And out of curiosity, what do these specific forms contain?

If your counselor is experienced and from a school that typically sends off these reports to colleges, you are likely in good hands. If your counselor is sending her/his recommendation and other forms online, then you just need to load that counselor name and email to the common app under school forms. If your counselor tells you she needs to do it hardcopy, then you can print out the pdf of the counselor form from the commonapp.org website. Before you print it, you can fill in all your personal stuff on the form so it’s neat and tidy. You can see what’s in this form when you open it. Your counselor may or may not need a stamped, self-addressed envelop … she/he can tell you this. Counselors have been doing the common app now for several years, so she/he can tell you what they need from you. Check in with your counselor to see if they need anything else from you; if you’re nervous that something may not get done for your list of schools, just make an appointment with your counselor and review what has been done and what’s still needed.
