I have two serious problems.

As an international student, I submitted the "international student certification of finances" with my app. It was my and my family's very first time filling out such form. In the blanks I entered the amount of my parents' yearly earnings. Just yesterday I found out that I was actually supposed to put only the amount my parents can pay for my college years. My family's yearly salary and the money they can provide for my education are two very diffrent things... This is a serious problem, right? The form was due a month ago.. What do I do now? Would it be alright to send them another form with a letter explaning my mistake? I feel very stupid.. :(

Another less serious problem:
I submitted my app about a month ago, but still haven't received any kind of notification that it has been received(no blue card:(). I am guessing it is taking a while since there are many applicants and many mails to be sent. Am i right, or do i need to call them and ask?

Any help would be greatly appreciated! thanks!

"The form was due a month ago.." <- I think that's your problem.

No no, you probably misunderstood me.. I sent in the form on time.. I am asking if it would be too late to do anything about the form that was submitted (and due) a month ago..

You could try emailing the Financial Aid Office, I'm sure they would do something about it.

Also, Johns Hopkins will send you an email in Feb. if you're missing something.

As far as your first problem:

You need to submit an updated cerftificate of finances form IMMEDIATELY. This form is sent to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, NOT Financial Aid. Download a new form, complete it CORRECTLY, and then mail it as soon as possible. Include a cover letter detailing your previous errors. In addition, you should fax the new form and cover letter to 410-516-6025. Make sure to include your full name, birth date, and school name.

Your second problem:

You need to have patience. We are still processing MANY applications and confirmation postcards are being sent regularly. If you live abroad, it can take up to two months for a confirmation postcard to arrive. And as I have always said, you will be contacted by your applicant email if anything is missing in mid-February.
