<p>Hey guys, I am a prospective international student from Ecuador.</p>
<p>I chose the U of Minnesota as one of my universities; however, there was a problem with the office that was taking care my documentation (It had to be translated) and I just got the papers last week. The deadline for international students met on Dec 19th.</p>
<p>U of M isn't my only option, I'll apply to other 4 universities. The deadline for all those universities is after February. I just want to know if I still have a chance at U of Min.</p>
<p>I'll have my 5 (or 4) transcripts delivered on Monday and I'm not sure if I can still send one copy to U of Minn. Will I still be considered? Even a small chance works for me, but if there is no chance at all I won't lose neither their time nor mine.</p>

<p>There are some colleges that would extend the dead line, you can always get in contact with that college!!

<p>I tried to contact them, they don’t answer me (that’s a bit disappointing, to be honest)… I applied before the deadline, sent my toefl scores and sat scores before the deadline, but that damn (sorry about the term) office ruined my transcript and I still have it here … lol.</p>
<p>your attitude is bad. I wouldn’t extend any deadline for you.</p>
<p>If the rest of your application was submitted on time, you’re probably fine. They do allow some leeway for supplemental documentation. Send the transcript.</p>
<p>And they probably didn’t respond to your inquiry because the office was closed for Christmas break.</p>
<p>@onlineewl Well I don’t know what you mean by ‘that attitude’. I’m just being objective. It’s very expensive to send those documents from my City, and I don’t want To spend that much money if I don’t have a chance.</p>
<p>Now that the holiday season is over, they will likely answer your calls. Contact them ASAP, explain the mishap, and talk it over with them. My NU supplement was late due to a problem with the common app but they were really reasonable and extended my deadline.</p>
