<p>An NP does not count in your Berkeley GPA, and you do not get credit for the course. Basically, you would have gotten a D or F grade if you had taken the course for a letter grade, so some graduate or professional schools may view it as such.</p>
<p>You can repeat the course which you got an NP in either P/NP again, or for a letter grade.</p>
