what happens if you np a class?

<p>I'm taking CS3S for 2 units p/np, and I fear I may np it. </p>

<p>Will this have any impact on my GPA or how grad schools view my GPA?</p>

<p>It won’t have effect on GPA, but I heard from my department advisors that grad schools and professional schools (i.e., med school) look at NP as an F. I don’t know how true it is though. They did recommend if someone got a NP that they retake the class again so it shows you were able to do it.</p>

<p>Is it really recommended to retake it when you’re taking an intro class outside your major? Especially a 2 unit class?</p>
