<p>If they're mailed out after the Jan. 1st deadline... what happens? I want to apply to more schools, but I'm on break.</p>

<p>January 1 is** not** the deadline for teacher recs and transcripts. It is only the deadline for the student's application. With the exception of rolling admissions schools, most teacher/GC recs along with the mid year transcripts are due in february.</p>
