I know this is a little early but I’m concerned because we are away a large part of the summer. So what happens if we are not in town during any of the preview dates. The dates are not listed yet but it says it is mandatory.
You should contact admissions. They may allow you to attend a Summer B session, which start in May, or I’m thinking they have a “late” session, near the end of July or early August.
The university quite insistent that it is mandatory. Aside from learning about the school, housing and clubs, I think there are a number of mandatory sessions that cover safety, which I imagine the university can’t and won’t budge on. The big benefit is getting a head start on your course schedule and learning the tips/tricks to help the student get their classes.
Thank you. I’m going to contact them. We have been to it before for my older daughter and are aware that it is mandatory. However, she will be out of the country until August 1. I really hope they can help us work something out.
The out of state or international student preview is mid August. If she comes back Aug 1 and there aren’t any regular preview days available, they might be able to squeeze her into the out of state/international preview.
