I already got in :) But if I hadn't I would take the SAT again hope for amazing scores and take a year off to work / summer school / study a language

I'd hope and hope I get into Canadian or Australian universities and that it doesn't cost a whole lot. Otherwise I might....just....go back home....and study there....

I know I got into one US college, and I do like it, from what I read on their site and from my friend, but...I'd like choices, you know. :p

(next year)
I would apply to Korean universities but only to the top ones. If I dont get in there, I would probably take a gap year and do stuff like volunteering in 3rd world countries (i really really want to do this soon) and learn more new languages and stuff like that.

I'll juz resign to fate and attend my national university, which ironically is ranked higher all the US unis I applied to (less yale) haha... Even though I really want to go overseas... dun even have the money to go Australia or Canada which are already considered damn cheap compared to US...

i would just take the year off..try to get hold of some research program and get better sat scores. Do some crazy stuff in research which i never got the time to do before..and reapply.

Also i would prepare for the entrance exam of Indian Institutes of Technology.

vampiro = shikhar?? Sorry, if I miunderstood!!! You applied to MIT, right?? Mind sendimg me your stats and essay in PM?? Thanks!! Did you have interview? Who else is applying (the best students from India that is!) What are there stats like? Please PM!!

first i'll die.. and then i'll apply to other univeristies that aren't on my ex-list.... if it doesn't work out, i'll apply to asian universities (maybe Tokyo or Beijing.. i don't know)... then if it STILL doesn't work out, i'll die... and die... and die... and study right here in my country.

i haven't really thought of that yet (i'm still a few months away from what all you ppl are doing. hehe) i WON'T think of that. positive mental attitude, ppl! :D

I already got accepted by my safety school back home, so at least I have a fall-back. It's still a pretty competitive school by our standards. Still waiting for Univ of the Philippines results though, because that's the best. I won't kill myself for not getting into my US schools because I can always go there for postgrad study. Though I will feel very guilty about wasting my parents' money for application fees, SAT's, that stupid TOEFL, FedEx...
