You should really learn cello! My older sister plays the cello, and she really enjoys it. It sounds really pretty too! :)

violin! i enjoy it immensely but i kind of suck at it. i’m currently struggling my way through bach concerto in A minor, the first violin part of a vivaldi duet, and the easy part is playing lots of christmas songs for orchestra.

My friend has multiple violas. I will start by learning on that then migrating towards the cello.

Cool, I really want to play viola!

Does anybody else use the Suzuki series? I just started book four… :)

I want to learn clarinet, guitar, and I also play the tin whistle quite well but most people don’t consider that an instrument

has anyone seen the movie Fame High? it’s a documentary about LACHSA and i highly recommend it, it’s on netflix.

I’ve been playing the piano for 7 or 8 years! Although I’m not all that good haha. I’m playing Mozart’s K 545 Sonata (AKA his easiest one), Grieg’s Butterfly (absolutely beautiful piece), Chopin’s Waltz in A Minor, and four of Bach’s short preludes. Once I become proficient, I’d really like to take on the challenge of learning Gershwin’s second prelude. I love the smooth jazz feel to it. I have really wanted to learn the cello as well ever since I heard du Pre’s recording of Elgar’s Cello Concerto in E Minor.

Hmm I play the piano. It was pretty sucky until a few years ago when I began to actually be able to play actual pieces. Now it’s pretty awesome. As a senior, I’m kinda just playing for fun now, so things are a lot more chill and relaxed (and enjoyable). I should probably practice more though…

ive been playing piano since i was in 2nd grade and now im playing debussy arabeseuqe 1 like everyone else lol and beehtoven sonata op10 no1 sonata 5 i really want to so rachmaninoff op3 no2 as my next song or op 23 no5

I’ve been playing the cello for 3 years now. Currently working on a number of songs for my schools Christmas concert

I have played trombone now for about 3 and a half years! In fact, I have an audition Saturday Wish me luck! I’ve also had experience paying baritone since the two go hand in hand. Hopefully in the future, I can expand my talents to other instruments. Alto saxophone maybe?

I actually attend an arts magnet school so students at my school are incredibly strong in at least one art.

Drums

Classical piano for 6 years, and then moved to jazz piano for about 4 years. I’ve also played cello for about 7 years. I learned mallets, some drums, and guitar a little by myself. Really wish I could play something like sax though, haha!

Double bass player since the 3rd grade. I picked up electric around 6th grade (once you learn upright, the electric is a piece of cake).

I’m not working on anything individually right now, but in Orchestra, we are doing Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 5 and an Indian piece called Solipsis.
