<p>Where did you guys work? For how long? Was it worth it? Where did you find an internship anyway?</p>
<p>I worked in a place for a year when I was in 9th grade and worked in another for 3 years. These 4 years is the mort important part of my life. </p>
<p>I am working as a tutor from last december to keep in shape until i enter college.</p>
<p>For first two, I learned a lot and if I get into any reach schools, those and another 2 ecas will be the reasons.</p>
<p>1) Veterinary internship

3) Heck yeah~! I learned a lot about the profession and basic medicine
4) I called a LOT of places and followed through</p>
<p>I did a dental internship each summer after my freshman year. It was AMAZING, and I learned a lot about dentistry.</p>
<p>Hospital internship, 6 months, learned a ton about hospital seeing.and medicine (shaped why i want to be a doc.), calling tons of hospitals lol.</p>

<p>I am doing a ChemE internship at a local private university. My AP Bio teacher gave the internship and I am expecting it to be a lot of fun! It is going to be 3 days a week and last the whole year!</p>
<p>How do you guys manage to find these internships?</p>
<p>I would love to intern at a local TV or Radio station when the time comes. But for now, no.</p>

<li><p>The state police department (various departments - front desk logging tickets, evidence/property, patrol, victims service, community service & the training academy (personal fave, the training academy is with a FBI post and was so much fun))</p></li>
<li><p>Entire senior year, half day (11:00-2:30)</p></li>
<li><p>Yes! I met amazing people who I still talk to (the guys from the training academy require me to come see them whenever I’m back in town from uni)</p></li>
<li><p>I was personally picked by our student involvement/internship counselor at school as a good fit and had to interview and be selected for the position</p></li>

<p>Plus, who really gets to say they had the FBI teach them how to shoot a handgun? Haha</p>
<p>I have an online writing internship lined up for the fall, but I will talk about my current one…</p>
<p>I am currently an intern at a local golf non-profit that I have been volunteering at for several year. I was encouraged to apply due to my involvement in the organization. So far it has been a great experience, so yes it was worth it. It is a summer internship, but it looks like I will be doing a little work on weekends this fall…</p>
