what is a 29 equivalent to SAT 2400 scale?

ACT 29 good or bad?

my SAT CR+MATH=1320... too bad...

I think it's pretty equivalent to your SAT score. I have a 1330 and a 29, and I'm pretty sure they're close. you can find conversion charts using google though.

29 = 1300 = 1950

a 29 is a good score.

ohh.. ic ic thank you guys..

if i am aiming some excellent schools. would 32 + a pretty good one? or should be higher?

i am going to retake it in Dec.

im an international student btw.

a 29 is really that score??? i have a 1360 M+V would that be better than my 28 then (even though my writing is crap - 550)

many schools have their own internal concordance tables. the old sat/act concordance table is out of date from everything I've read. The UC concordance table has a 29 at 1380 on the old concordance table.

I agree on whether it's a good score. A 29 makes you competitive and you don't have to emphasize other aspects of your profile to the degree that would be required if you didn't have that score. Is it good enough for the Ivys? Who knows--but probably not. For many of the top 20 though it should suffice.

Hahaha. Wow, did muuuch better on the ACT than the SAT according to those conversion tables. (29 ACT, 1270/1900 SAT.)

Retaking them both because I am a freak and I'm determined to do better. Someone help me. ;.;

Personally, I that anything under a 30 is bad but that's because of the school I go to. Too many people are retaking 32s and 33s because they're "just not good enough" and the average score is somewhere in the 30s (for Honors students, not the entire student body.)

If you look at it on its own without using psycho measures of comparison like I do, 29 is a good score. I just have an overdeveloped sense of competition. (Euphenism of the year.)

ohhh..thx to all ur guys..

i am aiming 30+ next time..so hopefully the result will be better than 29..

i searched some middle 50% SAT and ACT scores of some schools. and it seems that most of schools' middle 50 ACT is around 29, lets say some colleges 27-30, and some really good Us is 29-31 ish.. but relatively, their SAT middle 50% is way higher than that ACT converts into SAT ...so

another question, if I got let's say 30 on ACT which is equivalent to 1380 or 1400 ish..which one should I submit?

thx guys
