What is a good SAT score for only Math and CR combined?

I am fairly familiar with a good score for selective colleges out of the 2400 scale, but it seems like many colleges calculate scores using only Math and Critical Reading. What is a competitive score range using only CR and Math (Score out of 1600) for selective colleges?

It depends on the college. A safe bet would be 700+ in individual scores. Altogether 1400+

What would be a good score for schools like Berkeley and UCLA (out of 1600)?

Uhh, so Berkeley’s math range is 650-770 and CR is 600-730. Your math would have to be pretty high and the reading can be more lenient so you can maybe estimate a 750 in math and a 665 in CR, or 1415 overall. <a href=“BigFuture College Search”>BigFuture College Search;

And the avg verbal is 625 and avg math is 675 for UCLA so a 1300. But keep in mind that you always want to hit a little above avg.
