What Is An Overall Average That A Canadian Student Needs To Apply To Harvard

I have been researching the Ivy leagues for a while and I realized that the admissions requirements are based on GPA's and Sat scores. I live Canada and GPA's are not used so what is an overall average that a Canadian student needs to apply to Harvard. Also throughout the years of my high school career I often got b's and a's but I have 4 c's on my transcipt will I be penalized for that even if there is improvement over the years in grades?

Answers will be appreciated :)

Your four C’s, and B’s will hurt. Harvard is looking for outstanding candidates. However your grades will be considered in context of your school- so if you are ranked in the top 5 or 10%, the individual grades besome less significant. Your SAT/ACT scores, if they are extremely high, can also have a balancing effect.

Are you one of the handful of top students in your school? Known by the instructors and the principal? If so, then you might be viable. If you’re not, a school like H is a virtual impossibility.

There will be thousands of rejected applicants with 4.0 GPA and above each and every year.

Thank you for the answers
